| Ed Rogers has blurred vision when it
comes to musical styles. Although “Misery and Gold”,
is a country music record, he doesn’t see himself
as a honky-tonk hero. He uses a fluid concept of genre
to interpret the songs of friends and influences, and
explore the similarities of blues, rock, country and folk
music. Years spent with gypsy troubadours and tone-deaf
cowboys left him with a significant catalog of covers
and inspired originals. A talented singer, guitarist and
front man, Rogers delivers this music with distinct style
and finds his way into the hearts and minds of his audience.
Ed also does double duty as the drummer for No
Class, a band from the humble beginnings of acoustic
song circles that has gathered steam to emerge as an
area favorite. |
